The Librarians’ have recovered their lost treasure trove, now they just need to keep the actual artifacts from disappearing.

Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) will be the master of his domain once more in season 2, but the original Librarian will need to employ Eve and his former LITs to figure out why the world’s most treacherous objects keep vanishing into the library’s rarified air.

The answer may be simpler than one may think, according to Raina Reveals. Just as the Annex can access the Library’s vast collection of texts, a man named Ray Glasney (Drew Powell) will be able to pull artifacts out of his pocket like rabbits from a hat. While it seems the elderly gentleman can retrieve any of the magical objects sealed behind the walls of the repository, Ray is really seeking the Staff of Zarathustra.

It is currently unknown what powers the staff will hold. It’s safe to say Jake (Christian Kane), Cassandra (Lindy Booth), Eve (Rebecca Romijn) and Ezekiel (John Kim) will figure it out.
